Dr. Fitzmaurice comes to Notre Dame with experience working in several roles in Catholic schools. He was a physics teacher at both Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx and The Mary Louis Academy in Queens and a finance professor at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh. As an administrator, Dr. Fitzmaurice served as President of La Salle Academy in New York City and as a business manager for the Archdiocese of New York’s regional schools in Central Westchester. Prior to his career in education, Dr. Fitzmaurice worked for several years as both an engineer and a financial professional.
